To achieve this, we live by our values: Own it Be relevant Think without limits About the Role To administer the Control of Contractors Procedure and provide administrative and practical support to the Health and Safety Manager. The role will primarily support the effective management of contractors working at the venue, with additional responsibility for routine Health and Safety administration and compliance activities. Roles and Responsibilities: To effectively staff the contractor entrance as required during normal operating hours. To assist with contractor approval, including obtaining and checking required due diligence documentation and maintaining the contractor database. To coordinate the issue, monitoring and close-out of Work Permits. To take and distribute minutes of the monthly Health and Safety meeting and maintain associated action records. To undertake specified Health and Safety inspections and review activities, identifying and reporting areas for improvement. To undertake general Health and Safety administrative duties. To undertake specific Health and Safety project work as required. To promote the effective use of Health and Safety procedures and arrangements. To assist with accident and incident investigations as required. To support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of Health and Safety management systems. To maintain accurate Health and Safety and contractor records and documentation. To undertake relevant training and professional development to support the effective delivery of the role and develop competence in Health and Safety and Contractor Management. Qualifications IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent – desirable NEBOSH Certificate – desirable Level 3 Award in Food Safety – desirable First Aid at Work – desirable Relevant qualifications and experience will be considered, but formal Health and Safety qualifications are not essential where the candidate demonstrates the appropriate aptitude and willingness to undertake training and development. Relevant Skills: Good general IT skills and confidence using computer-based systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain accurate records and manage documentation. Good organisational and time-management skills.
